Ivor Hambridge and Shaun Marais won the men’s team race on stage one of the sani2c Trail in Ixopo, today.
The Iron Fist duo finished the 82km route, which started in Himeville, in 3:34:26.
Sarel Nieuwenhuizen and Eddie Fivaz placed second, with Sean McCormick and Kyle Poppleton third.
The mixed team race was won by Vickus and Wilma Boshoff, while Colleen Jacobs and Johanet Cilliers won the women’s event.
