American Kate Courtney won the women’s title at the UCI MTB cross-country olympic world cup in Albstadt, Germany, today.
The 23-year-old, who won gold in last year’s UCI MTB Bike World Championships, completed the six laps in a time of 1:26:03.
Switzerland’s Jolanda Neff crossed the line 49 seconds later, with Ukraine’s Yana Belomoina third.
The Netherlands’ Anne Tauber claimed fourth place, with fellow countrywoman Anne Terpstra completing the top five.
