Lorena Wiebes (Parkhotel Valkenburg) won the women’s road race title at the Netherlands Road Championships in Ede yesterday.
The 20-year-old, who also claimed gold in the European Games road race, completed the 122.6km route in a time of 2:57:37.
Second place was awarded to Marianne Vos (CCC-Liv), with Amy Pieters (Boels Dolmans Cyclingteam) third.
Annemiek van Vleuten (Mitchelton-Scott Women) placed fourth, while Ellen van Dijk (Trek-Segafredo Women) completed the podium.
