Calvin Beneke and Andrew Edwards claimed this year’s Panorama Tour title in White River, Mpumalanga, today.
The ProTouch Guru PPS duo finished in an overall time of 8:53:17, with Casper Kruger and Andries Nigrini second (8:53:23) and Callum Ormiston and Asher Biggs third (8:54:30).
Demacon’s Kim le Court and Carla Oberholzer took the women’s team title in 10:09:47, with teammates Suzan Cronje and Lynette Burger second (10:51:08). Stacey Paul and Gillian Fourie finished third (11:09:07).
The mixed team title went to BSC-DDMedia’s Grant Edmiston and Parys Edwards (9:27:49). Matthew Stamatis and Samantha Sanders claimed second (3:09:24), with Lucy James and Gabriel van Deventer third (9:49:30).
The 32km time-trial on the final stage was won by Team NAD/Demacon’s Barend Burger and Nico Bell, with Cronje and Burger winning the women’s team race. Edmiston and Edwards won the mixed event.
