Thibaut Daprela won the junior men’s downhill qualifying round at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Leogang, Austria, today.
The Frenchman (03:25) finished ahead of compatriot Matteo Inigues (03:28) and America’s Joseph Foresta (03:28).
Austria’s Valetina Holl (03:50) won the women’s event while America’s Anna Newkirk (04:08) and Norway’s Mille Johnset (04:12) rounded out the podium.
South Africa’s Connor Finnis finished 60th in the men’s event while Sabine Thies came ninth.
