Carlos Rodriguez Cano won the third stage of the Vuelta al Besaya in Bostronizo, Spain, today.
The Spaniard set a time of 10:19 on the 5km stage that started in Arenas to beat compatriots Pablo Garcia Frances (+0:00:31) and Juan Ayuso Persquera (+0:00:34).
His victory awarded him the overall lead (4:44:17) over Frances (+0:00:23) and Persquera (+0:00:34).
South Africa’s Benino Hans finished the stage in 75th position and remains 87th in the general classification.
