Philip Fourie and Francois Ebersohn increased their overall lead when they won the men’s team race on stage two of the Waterberg MTB Encounter at Elements Private Golf Reserve in Bela-Bela, Limpopo, today.
The duo completed the 46km course in 2:17:58 to beat Andre Gibhard and Lionel Scholtz (2:22:49). Third were Mark Prince and Michael Minnaar (2:24:11).

Timo and Michaele Cooper won the mixed event once again when they finished in 2:32:50. They were followed by Justin and Lizette Cave (2:54:24) with Lesleigh and Heimar Beukes (3:02:49) finishing in third.
Yolandi Kotze and Alta Gosling (3:52:58) grabbed success in the women’s team event.
