Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) proved the strongest in a bunch sprint finish on stage five of the Tour de France in Colmar today.
The points classification leader won the 175.5km stage, which kicked off in Saint-Die-Des-Vosges, in a time of 4:02:33.
Wout van Aert (Team Jumbo-Visma) finished second, with Matteo Trentin (Mitchelton-Scott) rounding out the podium.
Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-QuickStep) managed to keep the yellow jersey on his shoulders, with Van Aert second overall and Steven Kruijswijk (Team Jumbo-Visma) third.
