Kate Courtney won the elite women’s cross-country olympic race at the UCI MTB World Cup in Les Gets, France, today.
Courtney finished the race in a time of 1:26:29, with Jolanda Neff claiming silver and Elisabeth Brandau taking bronze.
Fourth place went to Sina Frei, with Pauline Ferrand Prevot fifth.
Candice Lill was the first South African across the finish line.
