Jean-Pierre Lloyd won the men’s time-trial on day three of the USSA Cycling Tournament in Cape Town yesterday.
He completed the seven laps, which totaled 25km, in 32:39. Alex Worsdale and Andries Nigrini placed second and third respectively. The women’s event was won by Tiffany Keep in 26:24, while Hayley Preen came second and Kelsey Nel third.
Gert Heyns claimed victory in the men’s criterium, with Tristan de Lange second and Luke Evans third. Keep won the women’s event, with Preen second and Michelle Benson third.
Worsdale and Keep were crowned the overall champions of the tournament.
