He completed the 90.3km men’s race in 2:16:01 to beat Thokozani Mahlangu and Nico Bell.
Catherine Colyn was the first woman to finish. She was followed by Gillian Fourie and Lee-Zaan Hinrichson almost 30 minutes later.
