Cycling South Africa has announced the national team who will compete at this year’s UCI Road World Championships in Yorkshire, Great Britain, from September 22 to 29.
The squad consist of four elite men, six elite women, three U23 men, two junior men and two junior women.
The elite riders are Daryl Impey, Stefan de Bod, Ryan Gibbons, Nicholas Dlamini, Ashleigh Moolman Pasio, Joanna van de Winkel, Tiffany Keep, Carla Oberholzer, Zanri Rossouw and Maroesjka Matthee.
Byron Munton, Marc Pritzen and Jason Oosthuizen are the U23 men.
The junior riders are Tiano da Silva, Damon Fouchee, Frances Janse van Rensburg and Kelsey van Schoor.
The championships consist of a range of races that start in different towns and cities throughout Yorkshire, with each one finishing in Harrogate.
This will be the first time that Britain has hosted the Road World Champs since 1982.
