Seth Sherlock came out on top in the junior men’s downhill race at the UCI MTB World Cup in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, today.
The Canadian finished in 3:03, beating Swiss Janosch Klaus by one second. New Zeeland’s Tuhoto-Ariki Pene followed one second later to take third.
Austrian Valentina Holl won the women’s event in 3:32. France’s Nastasia Gimenez (4:03) came second while America’s Anna Newkirk (4:03) claimed the final spot on the podium.
Frenchman Thibaut Daprela tops the junior men’s standings ahead of Australian Kye A’hern and Sherlock.
Holl also lies first in the women’s standings while Newkirk holds second and Norwegian Mille Johnset third.
