Adriaan Oosthuizen topped the men’s 140km race at the Angora Mountain Bike Classic in Jansenville, Eastern Cape, today.
He completed the event more than four minutes ahead of Eugene du Plessis and an hour in front of Pierre Deysel.
Sharlize Potgieter claimed the women’s trophy while Devrin Muir rode to victory in the 60km men’s event. He beat Andrew Cherrington and Drake Loubser.
The women’s race saw Lauren Smith finish first, beating Christine Swart and Johane Niemann to the line.
