Marco Joubert and Nicol Carstens claimed their second victory in a row on stage five of the Cape Pioneer Trek at the Swartberg Mountain in Oudtshoorn today.
The duo were followed home by Jan Withaar and Henry Liebenberg, with Arno du Toit and Gert Heyns third.
The women’s team event was won by Theresa Ralph and Sarah Hill. Samantha Sanders and Amy McDougall crossed the line in second, with Nicky Giliomee and Cherise Willeit third.
Fienie and Kobus Barnard won the mixed team event, with Yolande de Villiers and Kevin Taljaard second and Vladi Pokobova and Peter Verstraete third.
Shaun-Nick Bester claimed the win in the solo men’s race.
