Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen made his mark when he won stage one of the Tour of Britain in Kirkcudbright, Scotland, today.
Jumbo-Visma’s Groenewegen, who is the first to lead the GC, crossed the finish line of the 201.5km stage ahead of Italians Davide Cimolai and Matteo Trentin.
Ireland’s Rory Townsend trails Groenewegen by three seconds in the overall standings while Cimolai is another second behind.
