South African Reynard Butler finished seventh in the bunch sprint on the opening stage of the Tour of China in Beijing today.
The 96km stage, which forms part of the first section of the tour, was won by Italian Marco Benfatto.
He was followed by Dutchman Roy Eefting and Malaysian Mohd Hariff Saleh.
