Tour of Iran stage five results & GC: SA’s Kent Main finishes sixth overall

South Africa’s Kent Main finished sixth overall at the Tour of Iran in Tabriz today.

The tour was won by Russia’s Savva Novikov (21:30:23), while Moldova’s Cristian Raileanu, 24 seconds in arrears, took second. Algeria’s Youcef Reguigui, who finished another two seconds later, seized the final spot on the podium.

The 188.9km stage five was won by Belgian Thomas Josepth with Iranian Mohammad Ganjkhanlou and Reguigui taking second and third.
