Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel was crowned the cyclo-cross European champion for the third time in a row in Silvelle, Italy, yesterday.
Belgium’s Eli Iserbyt took silver, while fellow countryman Laurens Sweeck won bronze.
In the elite women’s race, the Netherlands’s Yara Kastelijn claimed victry, with Italian Eva Lechner second and Dutchwoman Annemarie Worst third.
