Regis Maniora and Talita Botha won the respective men’s and women’s events at the To Hell and Back in Gamaskloof yesterday.
Maniora completed the two-day mountain bike stage race in 5:38:25. Bobby Behan placed second overall, with Warick Minkley third.
Heinrich Coetzee and Jan Theron came fourth and fifth.
In the women’s race, Botha finished in a total time of 7:31:28. Ilse Nel came second, with Catherine Hind third.
Junita Kruger claimed fourth place, while Ursula Turck came fifth.
