Andre Nelson and Kelsey van Schoor broke the men’s and women’s records at the Steak Race in Port Elizabeth yesterday.
Nelson won the 90km race in a new record of 2:23:20, while Van Schoor broke the record with a time of 2:43:07.
Ryno Gerber placed second in the men’s event, with Conrad Viljoen third.
Siska van der Bijl and Linda Basson finished second and third in the women’s category.
