The 21-year-old, who is also an Xterra South African champion, narrowly beat Kim le Court in the sprint finish. Liezel Jordaan completed the podium.
“This is my first Herald Cycle Tour so I’m super stoked to have taken the win for my team,” said the Cape Town local, who rides for Team Gumtree/Racebike.
