Paarl Cycle Tour results: Theuns van der Bank sprints to victory

Theuns van der Bank sprinted to victory in the Paarl Cycle Tour, which took place at Fairview Wine and Cheese in Paarl today.

The 34-year-old beat George Perrins and Bizaye Redae into second and third respectively in the 97.8km feature race.

Bianca Holtzkampf rode to victory in the women’s race, with Christelle Hattingh second and Elne Owen third.

The respective 71.9km race winners were Du Preez Grobler and Amber Hindmarch.

Arlen Marais won the men’s 46.6km race, while Wilene Traut claimed victory in the women’s category.
