Jason Peach held on to win his second title in a row in the feature race at the Tomato Trot & Cycle at Brakfontein near East London today.

Peach, who hails from the coastal city, crossed the line in the 55km mountain bike event in 1:57:25 to beat Eddy Hoole by just over 20 seconds. Michael Pederson-Horne came home just over a minute later.
The women’s title comfortably went to Michelle Schlebusch, who completed the race in 3:05:58. Hayley McLoughlin and Jenna Hempel were a distant second and third.
In the 35km race, Clarence Randall (1:38:39) and Anine Koch (1:48:05) were the winners in the men’s and women’s sections respectively.
