Tristan Nortje and Nadine Rieder were the respective winners in the second race of the WC MTB XCO Series, which took place at Rhebokskloof in Paarl at the weekend.

Nortje completed the elite men’s race in 1:29:53, with Johan van Zyl finishing just over a minute later. Matthew Keyser settled for third.
Rieder won the women’s event in 1:22:47 – just under eight minutes ahead of Felicitas Geiger, while Janice Venter came third.
The respective junior men’s and women’s winners were Luke Moir and Andrea Schofmann.
