Vini Zabu-KTM’s Veljko Stojnic and Andrea Bartolozzi won stage three of the Giro d’Italia Virtual yesterday, while Astana Pro Team retained the Maglia Rosa.

The duo’s combined time for the 26.9km stage was 1:37:00. They beat Team Jumbo-Visma (Christoph Pfingsten and Timo Roosen) and Astana Pro Team (Yevgeniy Gidich and Davide Martinelli) into second and third.
In the women’s race, stage victory for Trek-Segafredo’s Audrey Cordon and Ellen van Dijk saw them increase the lead in the general clarification. Their combined time was 1:55:17.
Astana Women’s Team (Katia Ragusa and Olga Shekel) finished second and the Italian national team (Elena Cecchini and Maria Giulia Confalonieri) third.
