The UCI and relevant parties have decided to prolong the suspension of cycle races until June 1 and until further notice due to the ongoing global crisis over the spread of the coronavirus.
Earlier this month the organisation announced that it had suspended all events on the international calendar across all disciplines until at least April 3.
The new ruling affects the date of one of the sport’s greatest races, the Criterium du Dauphine, which was due to run from May 31 to June 7.
The organisers of this race have now started working towards finding a new date.
