South Africa’s Reinardt Janse van Rensburg has shown off Qhubeka-Assos’ new kit in a series of social media images.
Qhubeka-Assos, Africa’s only UCI-registered WorldTour cycling team, unveiled its race jersey for the 2021 season on Friday.
Janse van Rensburg is one of only two South Africans on the Qhubeka-Assos roster along with Nicholas Dlamini.
A third South African rider, Marc Pritzen, will form part of the team’s Continental squad.
His biggest win to date came at the Tour de Langkwai in 2016.
Janse van Rensburg also won the Cape Town Cycle Tour in 2012, the same year in which he was crowned South African time-trial champion.
He completed the “double” in terms of national titles when he won the road race in 2017.
Qhubeka-Assos will debut its new kit at Étoile de Bessèges in February.
The year ahead promises to be a busy one for Qhubeka-Assos with no fewer than 70 races scheduled over the course of 270 race days.
