Mountain bikers will have a rare opportunity to ride scenic trails not generally open to the public in the Swartland MTB Funride.
The routes incorporate flowing single-track and jeep track through wheat and canola field as well as indigenous fynbos.
There are three route options available for the event – a breathtaking 65km climb up to and descent off the top of Swartberg, a 45km pedal through wheat fields and a 20km flatter route over rolling hills.
Entry fees: 65km – R150; 45km – R150; 20km – R130 (R40 discount for PPA members)
