Mountain biker Kevin Evans is known for his fearlessness in the face of a physical challenge, so when he dumped a bucket of ice water over his head, recorded it and posted the video on social media, it was once again for a good cause.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has literally taken the world by storm, with this new craze going viral on social media during July and August.
This initiative, also called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, promotes awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourages donations to research.
