Entries have officially opened for next year’s Cape Town Cycle Tour. This includes entries for the Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge and Cape Town Cycle Tour Juniors.
The event will take place on Sunday, March 8, when roughly 35 000 cyclists will line up in Hertzog Boulevard to take on the 109km route around the peninsula.
“Entries for the 2015 tour opened slightly later this year due to our renaming the event in celebration of its iconic status and increasing global appeal. During its 37-year history, it has grown from strength to strength with entries for the 2014 event selling out in just under a week.
“We anticipate that entries for the 2015 race will sell out just as quickly and therefore encourage all prospective riders to enter early to avoid disappointment,” said David Bellairs, a director of the Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust.
Online entries for all three events can be submitted on the Cycle Tour website.
