Swiss mountain biker Stefan Sahm will toe the line at this year’s Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails two-day mountain bike stage race in Stellenbosch on November 28 and 29.

His impressive track record includes three ABSA Cape Epic wins, three Transalp Challenge wins, two Trans Schwarzwald wins, one Trans Germany win and one Trans Andes Challenge win.
Sahm is in the process of rehoming to South Africa, with Stellenbosch being his desired end destination.
“Our move to South Africa is firstly a personal decision,” says Sahm.
“We wanted to make a change and spend more time together as a family. Secondly, South Africa is one of the greatest places, with Stellenbosch having a good mixture of all that the Cape has to offer. It actually became a home for me a long time ago”.
