The Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo will move to its new home at the Cape Town Stadium for the 2016 edition of the world’s largest individually timed road race.
More than 70 000 visitors attend the three-day cycling, fitness and lifestyle event, which precedes the cycle tour each year.

The new venue will accommodate up to 400 stands and plenty more parking facilities and room to move for patrons who attend the expo between March 3 and 5.
The change follows the announcement by city authorities that the current venue, the Good Hope Centre, will become a dedicated film studio and therefore unavailable as an exhibition space.
Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust director David Bellairs said the stadium provided the ideal location in terms of size, facilities, safety and accessibility.
“The Cape Town Stadium in the Green Point precinct is the hub of the Cape Town Cycle Tour on race day including the finish area and hospitality village.”
