Dullstroom will play host to the seventh and final instalment of this year’s Ashburton Investments National MTB Series this weekend.
South Africa’s top mountain bikers will battle each other and the high altitude in the Mpumalanga resort town.

Ariane Kleinhans (RECM), who has three wins from five starts this season, has already secured the women’s series title and will not be taking part.
Should her nearest rival, South African marathon champion and 2014 series winner Robyn de Groot (Ascendis Health), take the Dullstroom win, it will not be enough to unseat Kleinhans.
The men’s crown is still up for grabs with Swiss rider Konny Looser (Wheeler IXS) the current series leader.
Like his countrywoman Kleinhans, Looser will not be at the race, leaving Max Knox (Biogen Volcan) as the main contender for the title. Knox has to win or come within spitting distance to have any chance of besting Looser.
The mountain biking weekend starts with the 75km marathon and 116km ultra-marathon feature races on Saturday, followed by the 41km half-marathon, 20km fun race and 10km fun ride on Sunday.
