The UCI 2.1 event will see five stages of racing, with the trademark double day kicking off proceedings in the form of a 98km road stage in the morning, followed by the unique 13km team time-trial of four riders each in the afternoon.
The road section will provide a variety of options, with the sprinters cashing in on stages one and three and the other two suiting the climbers.
Even though there is no summit finish, Merhawi Kudus will be the team’s rider targeting a high overall place.
In the sprint stages, recent Tour de Langkawi winner Ryan Gibbons will have a chance to lead the outfit.
The strong and experienced squad will include Serge Pauwels, Igor Anton, Omar Fraile, Adrien Niyonshuti, Reinardt Janse van Rensburg and Jaco Venter.
