The 40th Cape Town Cycle Tour has been stopped due to excessive winds, as seen in a compilation of some of the best videos courtesy of Chris Luyt of Bestmed.
A warning went out yesterday stating that there was a high probability of strong winds within the next 24 hours.
Extreme winds also resulted in the cancellation of the 2017 Bestmed Tour of Good Hope earlier this week.
