The second day of the Kalahari Challenge saw Timothy Hammond and Derrin Smith continue to lead the field as they finished almost an hour ahead of their nearest competitors as they passed through the Nhantle and Mogobane areas of Botswana yesterday.

The results remained largely unchanged from day one as Samantha Sanders and Theresa Ralph were also able to outpace their rivals.
Ben Melt Swanepoel and Yolandi Du Toit continued their success as they once again won the mixed category.
