Warren Price and Andrew Hill got off to a strong start as they set off on the first day of the Imana Wild Ride, which started from Morgan Bay Hotel along the Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape today.
Price and Hill finished in 1:57:20, giving them a two minute lead over Damon Stamp and Darren Lill when they start tomorrow’s 35km stage from Kob Inn to The Haven.
Rebecca van der Linde and Candice Lill were the first women’s team to complete the stage, finishing in 3:02:35, 7th overall. Bianca Haw and Andrew Houston led the mixed category, reaching the finish in 2:27:23.
