Johann Potgieter delivered a speedy performance at the downhill event of the SA MTB Championships, emerging as the new national champion at Mankele in Mpumalanga today.
It was a day for new champions as both Stefan Garlicki and Sabine Thies were dethroned, taking second place.
Christopher Philogene narrowly missed out on second as he completed the men’s podium. Charlotte Wolfson finished third in the women’s category.
