Etnard Louw won the Apple Blossome MTB Classic at the Elgin Grabouw Country Club in Grabouw, Western Cape, yesterday.

Louw finished the 60km race in 2:43:38 ahead of Richard Simpson and Andy Davies.
Caren Mills won the women’s race in 3:36:49. She was followed by Nikki Biesheuvel and Amanda Rootman.
The 30km men’s title went to Luke Phillips when he beat Dian Wiese and Juan Erasmus in 1:26:56.
Marie-Christin Kempf put in a strong performance when she won the ladies event in 1:46:25. Cally Silberbauer and Michelle Lawrance came in second and third.
George King claimed the honours in the men’s 10km race in 35:04. Jean Surridge placed second with Petr Luckhoff in third.
Kimryn Sherwood walked away with the women’s victory (41:54). Mihaela Sandu and Sanette Holthuis rounded off the podium.
