Waylon Woolcock won Tour de Plett at Central Beach in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape, today.
The BCX pro beat teammate HB Kruger when he finished the 87km mountain bike race in 3:14:18, a mere second ahead. The pair were followed by Shaun-Nick Bester, who recently returned from racing in Europe.

Ascendis Health’s Robyn de Groot claimed the honours in the women’s race as she finished in 3:51:14. Nicki Giliomee and Catherine Colyn completed the podium.
