Jacques Greef and Maude Elaine le Roux were crowned champions at the Mangaung Cycle Tour that took place to and from School of Armour near Bloemfontein in the Free State today.
Greef completed the 102km event in 2:34:18, followed closely by Egon Campbell. The pair finished in 2:34:18 and it was Donovan O’Reilly that completed the men’s podium two minutes off the pace in 2:36:14.
Le Roux won the women’s race in 2:51:27 and was followed four minutes later by Kirsten Jacobs. Yolande Day completed the women’s podium with a time of 3:00:41.
Junior Smith and Yvette Gerber Pretorius were champions of the 32km race.
