Flandria’s Rossouw Bekker and Robert Hobson made it two out of two when they won the 40km stage on the second day of the Sanlam MTB Invitational at Rhebokskloof Wine Estate in Paarl, Western Cape, today.
Bekker and Hobson beat defending champions Pieter Seyffert and Hanco Kachelhoffer of Ellsworth-ASG in a stage time of 1:44:52 to walk away with the title (4:33:07). Seyffert and Kachelhoffer finished today’s race in 1:45:02 for an overall time of 4:40:28.

Third on the day, as well as overall, were Bikeshop’s Aidan Connelly and Rogan Smart who completed the stage in 1:49:38 and a general classification time of 4:41:14.
