Andrew Hill secured the Drak Descent men’s title by winning the final stage in the Drakensberg mountain range in KwaZulu-Natal today.

Hill, who had also won stage one, completed the two-day mountain-bike race in 3:26:47, finishing ahead of Tyronne White and Kombo Bere.
The women’s title went to Andrea de Boer, who finished in 4:19:55. Carol Reeves and Janneke Leask were second and third.
Pyga Euro Steel’s Phillimon Sebona and Julian Jessop won the men’s team event in 3:28:23.
They were followed by Grant Underwood and Grant Lavers of Team Hattons. Third were Tyrone Johns and Dylan Williams (Giba Gorge).
In the women’s team race, Rosie Carey and Rentia Denissen (Bushbabes) took top honours in 5:24:03.
Darryn Purtell and Hayley Smith of Bell Equipment won the title in the mixed category when they topped the overall standings in 4:12:43. Tim Keep and Tiffany Keep of GObikeZA finished second.
