BMC Racing’s Rohan Dennis moved into the overall lead after winning the 12.6km time-trial on stage four of the Abu Dhabi Tour on Al Maryah Island today.
The Australian rider finished in 14:21, about 14 seconds ahead of Team Sky’s Jonathan Castroviejo and a further two seconds ahead of his teammate Miles Scotson.

LottoNL-Jumbo’s Jos van Emden finished in fourth, with Team Sunweb’s Wilco Kelderman in fifth.
Castroviejo is second overall after the time-trial stage, while Scotson completes the podium.
Fourth placed overall is Van Emden, with Kelderman in fifth.
World champion Team Sunweb’s Tom Dumoulin suffered a mechanical on the stage, which put him back in the results.
Tomorrow’s final stage final stage of the Abu Dhabi Tour consists of a 10.8km climb, which averages just over 6%, to Jebel Hafeet.
