Carla Oberholzer soloed to victory in the women’s SA National Road Championships 121km road race in Oudtshoorn today.
The Team Demacon rider finished the race in 3:42:24, beating Maroesjka Mathee, Lynette Burger and Jo van der Winkel by over three minutes. Van der Winkel, Mathee and Burger finished in a bunch sprint.

Catherine Colyn won the women’s under-23 category and finished ninth overall in a time of 3:46:02.
Tiffany Keep won the 87km junior women’s race in 2:48:46, beating Kelsey van Schoor and Carla Steyn in second and third respectively.
