Rwandan Samuel Mugisha won the third 93.4km stage of the Tour de L’espoir in Yaounde, Cameroon, yesterday.
Mugisha beat compatriot Joseph Areruya in a final dash for the line in 2:28:40. Ethiopian Million Beza Ejgu soloed to the finish line in third.

South African Aidan van Niekerk finished in seventh, with teammate and former general classification leader Louis Visser placed 29th.
Van Niekerk is now South Africa’s new GC holder, currently ranked sixth overall ahead of the fourth and final stage tomorrow.
Mornay van Heerden finished the stage in 18th, Daniyal Matthews 36th, Joshua Francis 38th and Carl Bonthuys 41st.
