ASG-Ellsworth’s HB Kruger and Stuart Marais won the first 71km stage of the Transcape MTB Encounter today.
The pair finished in a time of 2:23:47, beating Team Happysalmon’s Eirik Fiskfik and Thomas Engelsgjerd and Ellsworth-ASG’s Hanco Kachelhoffer and Pieter Seyffert in second and third respectively.

Oakley4’s Janine Muller and Mari du Toit won the UCI Women’s category in 3:08:19.
Udo Mueller won the solo men’s category in 2:34:38, with Jeanie de Villiers winning the solo women in 3:06:05.
