Ernst Behrens, in batch one, is currently leading the 554km Freedom Challenge Race to Willowmore, which started in Cradock yesterday.
Behrens, as at 12pm today, has ridden 159km, almost 15km more than the second-placed Kim Ward and 16km more than George Evans in second and third respectively.

Attie Jacobs is currently leading in batch two, who had started their race this morning.
Jacobs, as at 12pm, has ridden 66.15km, just over a kilometre more than Almero Retief and Gerrit Pretorius in second and third respectively.
