Evans, as at 1:30pm today, has ridden 488.33km, just three kilometres more than Andrew Baxter in second.

Attie Jacobs is currently leading in batch two, who had left on Friday morning. He has ridden 400.34km.
Batch three, who departed on Saturday morning, is led by Richmond MacIntyre, who is currently also ahead of two batch two riders. He has currently ridden 390.89km.
Bruce Hughes is leading in batch four, as well as over three batch three riders, after having currently travelled 340.50km. Batch four left on Sunday morning.
John Wardle, after having ridden 161.56km, currently leads batch five, who left on Monday morning.
